Chosen

Chosen

A Poem by Grace Lea
"

Just me talking, really, to those of us whom God has called to lead a holy life. Advice for all of us to leave behind the distractions of this world...

"

Chosen one,

Set apart

Destiny calls your name

And commands you to be different

A broken compass,

A cage without a key

Is going through life

Without Him beside me

Slow down,

put something off till tomorrow

Close your eyes,

to all the world that is around you

short and crisp. You have a good message point brought up here.

It feels zen reading this piece. An emotional snapshot.

Good form, good choice of words, well painted imagery.

A good piece
