My Blue Sky: A Prayer

This is one of many prayers that I've written down. It progresses from praying to God to speaking to those around me, or those that will read it.

Kiss my eyes,

and let them close

Let me sleep

and dream of You

 

Be still and know that He is

Let your mind and spirit soar

Past all limits and see Him there

 

Keep your eyes to the sky

and breathe Him in

Keep your head to the ground

and sleep in Him

Walk each day and know

that your life is a breathing prayer

 

Lay down your ever-weary souls

And let Him speak to you
