Spring

Spring

A Poem by Sun Dog
"

Here's the second in the series.

"

No longer alone
you water me and nurture me
and this seed becomes a sapling

growing in the lucent beams of your love

my budding twigs become branches

Where fruit appears minute by minute

expanding from mellow to ripe

instantaneously

and we feast and dine on ourselves
and with each other

The blank universe

has become a canvas

resembling an artists pallet

after years of use and creation

I like the idea of a seed developing into love. It's a beautiful theme and you worded it well.
"we feast and dine on ourselves" ha, nice line sounds kind of risque though :D
The only thing I might thing about changing is the line after that doesn't really seem necessary.
A very uniquely written concept.
Nice write!

I love part 2 as well! Is there more in this series? You've created captivating imagery and a touching story. Amazing :)

I like how said how the sapling is watered and how it needs to be nurished. I like the imagery that is being placed, and it is understandable. I also admired the describing words that you used
