Simple

Simple

A Poem by Kristin

I want breakfast on a Sunday morning

A conversation to last days

Easy going and simple

Just like genuine dimples

A picnic on a mountain

Overlooking flowers and trees

A nap underneath the sun

With a silent breeze

A spring day in the middle of winter

Melting away the blues

A sweet kiss to shut your eyes

And constant blue skies

A sleep so close to hibernation

Waking up to a peaceful rain

Soft drops against glass windows

There’s no need to be afraid

Safety that is habit

Fragile but true

In the arms that surround me

I’ll always love you

once again you have created a relationship with the natural things the world has to offer us and what we can do with what it offers. It's nice that you are able to appreciate such things, embrace them and express their meaning to you.
