Games

Games

A Poem by Kristin

Anyone knows her smile lies

Just like the birds on a winter day

Too quickly they’ll be gone

Just a game they have no way

But in your eyes there’s beauty

All so simply I fell into you

Just a tumble in my step

From the day we met

My eyes a dull dark grey

Hidden behind a layer of blue

A sweet song will revive me

Sure words will be my cue

If I had dreams I might be sure

But all I have is to live off yours

Sleepless nights and no lullabies

Good night baby I hope time flies

this is a good poem. Good description and rhythm help it flow nicely. Great job! Keep it up!
