A COROLLARY TO WHAT'S EVIDENT

A COROLLARY TO WHAT'S EVIDENT

A Poem by Gheeneil

Forbidden

"

Beyond the limit lies a space unbounded

But I won’t cross the line between us

The sky looks beautiful where it reigns

And so do those down below.

The freedom to choose among innumerability

And the chance to meeting two different points

Still makes one asymptotic to the other

I am where you can’t create existence.

No matter how sweet the words,

If your lips are burned by one soft kiss

And if my light attacks you like ruthless rays,

Your claim remains a conjecture.

What I say may be contrary to what I feel,

But regardless of the truth of the matter,

I shall begin to mourn for the Undefined

Because love poisons the moment we touch.

This passage leaped out to me "The freedom to choose among innumerability, And the chance to meeting two different points," seeing in it the amazing odds in two people connecting (through space, time, and life circumstances). The different approach was refreshing and intriguing. Interesting write!

Written with flowing images and stellar vocabulary. Some relationships are not meant to be, but they are so difficult to avoid. There is a thin line between pleasure and pain....between love and hate. Beautifully written poetry. Lydi**

I like the feel of this write... speaks to you... as a reader... the words reverberate with each line... I was left wanting more in the end... and I guess that the point of this one... since the design is so cosmic...

"forbidden" A blaze ,marking the out of bounds, choice is not always free, some days it is the only gate left open for nature to flow through.18 % battery, puts a compact Time line on me now,big breath swim.

This makes me feel like chasing the horizon. I like the relations between math and love and their connection to the ideal.

here are my thoughts, (forgive me if im overly harsh) i was turned off immediately by the line " But I won’t cross the line between us" by writing the poem in the first place, you did.... I like how you said, "i am where you cannot create existence" I also loved, "your claim remains a conjecture" (brilliant use of distance control and power of presence here or there) after re-reading the whole thing.. the turn off at the introduction, is necessary you are doing what he asked you to do, without crossing the line that you were told to stand behind, (correct me if im wrong) your desire to speak your thoughts, overpowered your desire to honor the demand.. because you are at a distance.. i want to swear and say F*!N@ brilliant, but i will say.. marvelous write~ wow.. good work -s

Masarap sa mata(English Translation: Taste so good to my eyes)...Parang Sulat pag ibig, umibig ako ulit(English Translation: It's like a love letter, I fell in Love again.)...ah what do I know...my Tagalog is now rusty nowadays...a lost native tongue ancient in the misty beyond...what I meant, is your poem, in it's beautiful flow just makes me fall in love with poetry all over again...the reason why I write, is inspiration such as your poem.
