Maybe Tigers Swim at NightA Poem by Summer WindtonRead with an open mind and a analytical thinking.Maybe a bumblebee flies. Maybe the water's blue. Maybe we're nothing but specks on a board, And just maybe, tigers swim at night.
I never knew, what you said, The water was crashing too loud. My ears are straining, My heart suffocating, My dear, maybe tigers swim at night.
You say, no, they're asleep at night, and I say, You should know, the world awakens at night. Aren't I right?
What would happen to everything we were, If there was nothing left but water and tigers. Rivers long, and rivers wide, A forbidden touch in the middle of the night. Lips like roses, My love sleeps suddenly. Never underestimate, My power, my dear.
'Cause when the stars awaken, At night, we're fast asleep. But somewhere in the world, Some tigers are swimming at night.
