I Could Have Been Your Shopgirl If You Would Have Been My NY152A Poem by December BlaizeI never could say the things I mean,
But I just wanted you to know I would have been your Kathleen, You should have been my Joe. They all said you were too prejudiced, I know I was always too proud. My words were undeserved and unjust, Your silence was always too loud. I told you everything from behind a screen, I would have messaged you all night, And as for the words and the space between, You know "those three" won't make it right. You were everything I ever really wanted, Why couldn't we at least stay friends? I was a wreck masquerading undaunted, Now the means only justify the ends. I would have been your Shopgirl, I thought you were my NY152. I thought I'd give that movie a whirl, Saw it was too good to be true. © 2012 December BlaizeAuthor's Note
