VendettaA Poem by December Blaize*The sad story of a girl named Vendetta*She sits at home with Candles lit all around her Forging a blade of sadistic regret In the fires of hate As she cries, as she cries He's all alone with No place to go 'Cause he's running for his life From a girl he discarded As he waits, as he waits Vendetta, won't you come on home? Vendetta, don't stop now. Vendetta, won't you leave it alone? Vendetta, you better, you better Watch your back. She's on the run with Poison and blood On her hands, still shaking so cold Like the heart that she lost As she lies, as she lies. He's comatose with Scars and eyes vacant Like the stars in his sky A constellation for revenge As he dies, as he dies. Vendetta, won't you come on home? Vendetta, don't stop now. Vendetta, won't you leave it alone? Vendetta, you better, you better Watch your back. She's slipping away with Nightmares and dreams of agony Drowning in her pleasantries And suffocating walls As she screams, as she screams. She falls to the floor with Embers of a conscience And ashes of love For a personal war (no more) As she burns, as she burns. Vendetta, time to come on home. Vendetta, you've met your end. Vendetta, just couldn't leave it alone. Vendetta, you should've, you should've Walked away and not looked back. © 2012 December BlaizeReviews
