![]() SporksA Poem by December Blaize![]() The meaning of life... nothing makes sense.![]() I found the meaning of life In the school cafeteria. It's not that complicated, really: They tell you you've got choices When it's really just mush or a cookie. But no one listens to me anyway. M&Ms off the floor won't kill you, If it feels like yogurt, it must be, Well no one listens to us anyway. Remember when they showed that video With the deformed and diseased feet, And everybody screamed? When it's louder than a Justin Bieber concert And there's no spoons to eat the soup There's nowhere I'd rather be. Don't take my advice, try the spaghetti, Don't eat the purple bread, you're funny! Well, no one listens to us anyway. You can tell me all your secrets, Sing a song about pants on fire, Laugh like a maniac when everyone's crying, Scream at Jose 'cause he took your chips, Sit in silence with your best friend's boyfriend 'Cause no one listens to us anyway. I found the meaning of life in the school cafeteria, Between the dead bugs and the drama geeks, Behind the loner and the spastic stoner freaks, Next to the creep and the kid who always sleeps: The lunch ladies are a metaphor for Life, they say "You've got lots of choices": mush or a cookie. (I'll take the cookie.) © 2012 December BlaizeAuthor's Note
