The Glamour of California

The Glamour of California

A Poem by Summer Grace

The glamour of California
Lures me from faraway
There's something about
California, the beauty of

California a lingering longing
Faraway for a place that
I've never been to the glamour
Of California lures me

Faraway whispers of the
West old dreams I still
Chase of the glamour
Of California dreams

In a dream of California
I smile with belonging standing
Under blossoming trees
On a spring day

California is my forever
Dream world it lures
Me with images of myself
On a happy day in California

The glamour of the glittering
Sea the glamour of the
City of angels dreams
That are hard to let go

Once California's glamour
Is on your mind, another
Life no matter how happy
Can never be the ultimate fantasy
