Back to SummerA Poem by Summer Grace
Moving on, Moving back
What's wrong, what do we lack? It seems we lack summer time Sun and slumber sleep and sunlight Faraway from daylight though Sun is everywhere, daylight is unaware Because reality is daylight and Reality's not here only golden Sunlight of summer's fantasy Faded already but fading beautifully It's July and it's hot the World beautifully bought For one reprieve from reality Come be with me in my summer town The past we'll drown in the right now And when autumn comes, we'll cope somehow So autumn's come and those days Are over but it's moving back Not moving on to the realm Beyond where summer's gone Written November, 2010 © 2014 Summer Grace |
