Cemetery Angels, in July

Cemetery Angels, in July

A Poem by Summer Grace

Cemetery angels in July
Watch the clouds
Passing by under the
Sunshine falling on

Their white stone- wings
And wondering about
The dead beyond these
Things, beyond these

Troubles that torment us
They have peace instead
And no wanderlust, they
Are at rest, just dust

The cemetery angels
Made of stone may
Seem all alone in
Their beauty and

Tragedy so far from
The reality just down
The street of troubles
Never over the earth

Is Forever this way
All the world over
But the cemetery
Angels with the quiet

And peace and the
Green July grass
Year after year
Are forever past
The problems of this
Year, and the
Problems of last
