Summer Cemeteries

Summer Cemeteries

A Poem by Summer Grace

Summer cemeteries
Far away from the
World's realities
Summer sun, green grass

The years and the hours
Pass for those both
Under and above the
Green grass

Here under the
Summer sky the
World seems faraway
The world out there

The world of the living
While we wander the
The world of the dead
Angels and photographs

Fading with time on
Tombstones in a cemetery
We have our own reality
Here, faraway from

The troubles of the world
Out there peace and quiet
On a summer day-
As long as the world
Is faraway

I'm not sure what your goal was with this, but for me it made me think of how I feel when I visit my mom's and my brother's grave. Great job.
