Down the Road

Down the Road

A Poem by Summer Grace

The road waits for me
In the autumn haze
In the summer days
While I decide my path

The road leaves me
To stand there making
My choice while otherwise
Life goes on all around me

Full of regret about
The past and indecision
About the future
Waiting for someday or

Waiting for nothing?
I'm not sure but time
It slowly passes
Shadows on the road

Clouds drifting in the sky
These days are going by
Slowly to my destiny I
Can't comprehend

The reality, the fantasy
The confusion of life
Too many paths
Too many possible endings

Stories waiting in the
What could be down
The road, in the summer
Someday I'll find forever
