On a spring day

Written March of 2013.. It's December now..I wish it was May, today..


Not a care in the world
On a spring day the trees
Are heavy with blossoms in
May, on a spring day

Not a care in the world
In the sun, winter’s troubles 
Are over and done it
Seems everything will

Go right from now on
In the sun, days full
Of cares seem to be gone
Forever in the May sunshine

Happiness is what’s mine
In May though nothing
Lasts, and spring will
Not stay, I have no care
In the world today
