A Question of Patience

A Question of Patience

A Poem by Sumeet Mathur
"

Well, we all write so many examinations and tests to qualify for various careers or advancements. This is a write up on how we must expect the outcome in a positive way, rather than lose our minds. :)

"

As I wait with bated breath,

My anxiety lingering between life and death,

Hope and despair, been faithful partners,

Success and failure, equal parceners,

For success would allow me to stand on my feet,

And failure, the strength to achieve the feat,

Only a PASS stands between joy and sadness,

A moment undoubtedly difficult to harness,

But the essence of perseverance not forgotten,

And never does the impact of will power lay rotten,

For in the event of failure, ensure we must,

That we continue to give our efforts with thrust,

The One Above holds the reins to all,

For only His Will shall stand tall,

And He knows the right time for the right success,

And He grants it, with ever so much Mercy, in excess,

Thus, not in expectation, but in effort,

Lies our duty, never inert,

Such is the Mercy of The One above,

That if, in steps, we take one,

The next five, God grants as won.

So Try, Try and Try with Will,

And pray to Him and His Will.
