You have erased my name

from the pages of your diary.

You have removed my image

from your wallet.

You have cleaned the marks of my footsteps

tarnishing the floor of your room where I once danced.

This is how I wanted it

and this is what you have done,

for you have always valued...

my every single wish,

my every single desire.

You never refused anything to me,

you never refused to my decisions.

Now fulfill my last wish.

You have removed me from everywhere,

but one place is still left,

your heart... my sweet home

remove me from my home

remove me from your heart.

This is interesting! It's like they say, "if you love something set it free," but to say 'if you love me set me free,' which is just a way of saying that they don't love you back. Sad poem, yet very insightful. Tyfs!
