LongingA Poem by Sumana
There from the rain kissed road
I heard his foot steps on fallen leaves scattered by the storm. This heart which I thought was dead started pulsating again... The closer he came faster was the beat. As I rushed to the door. a soft, cold wind came in from the empty road outside. Two drops of rain fell upon my eyes. Three golden words from the core of my heart I sent to my guest to whisper into his ears when they meet. © 2017 SumanaReviews
