Valentine’s Day

 

Red flowers are everywhere

Those gifts are here and there

That girl talking with her boy

Asking him for a red thing he can buy.

 

The sky is smiling for that day

Wearing its red dress and its own spray

The world thinks that people are all happy

But it doesn’t see the ones who cry …

 

I see all of that and I’m sure I will be alone

I have no one to make me feel home

To make me live that beauty

And give me those red flowers ..

 

In that day I will stay alone

Watching those romantic movies

Of lovers ,and wishing for one in my home

But in that day I will be waiting alone..

AS I EVERY VALANTINE SAY :
“NEXT YEAR IM SURE THAT YOU WILL BE HERE “

BUT BADLY YOU ARE NEVER HERE ……

Very nice heartfelt write. You bring the emotion and longing across. The read hits a few choppy spots here and there but that will all be resolved in your editing. Nice work.

I unfortunately agree with Chris down there, this seems just a tad bit forced. Still, it is an adequate write altogether, as most poems that feel forced don't normally go well. This seemed okay though, not your best, but still, it doesn't seem like one of the worst.
