I didn’t believe

What is going on ?

You were saying a word

That is most hard to be said

And what you want me to what ??

Believe me ...Agree

I think you are great

But just as a friend

Distance isn’t what matter

But you and I

Like fire and rain ..

 

I knew you wanted to say that

But I was hoping you don’t

Because in this case I will fall

And it is hard to fall

From a long distance ..

 

Trust me ..

I had enough from lovers dreams

But just be sure               

That

You will always be a great friend

This type of thing happens alooot...I've seen it, witnessed it, felt it and observed it sooooo many times..... nonethless it is hard for both parties concerned and you captured that so well...and you let the poor guy down gently with warmth and kindness...excellent as always :)

Good poem! It's always hard when you have to choose between being lovers and friends. We always want the best of both worlds. I find that because English is not your native language, it creates a unique voice in the way you write in English. there is a staccato, broken, sparse effect that drives the point home clearly, without fanfare or fluff. I enjoyed it...
