Silent ShotsA Poem by stars are farHave you ever felt those days when it’s dark? The sun is up, the sky is blue, but all you see is grey? Have you noticed those owls staring at your face? Not caring if you walk, run, or pace. Those days are just like the first day after death When you are all alone in your tomb with no other breath, You just feel the coldness of the nonsense But you can’t object, since you don’t have the right to
do so.
Have you ever felt that your heart just stopped beating? When everyone around you is laughing, and you are just
not caring You feel like you are an outcast, or a phantom walking by
Wishing for someone, anyone, THE ONE to say hi!
You keep waiting on the sidewalk, looking through passengers’
eyes And at some point, you start to realize that THE ONE is
not coming by. You go to the airport waiting for his plane to land on You wait for too long, where everyone starts suspecting
you are a pun.
And at the end of that day, you look around, speechless,
wordless Thinking so deep, looking into everyone’s eyes, but still
speechless Some eyes talk more than others, some say they are happy
others not But when you look into your eyes, you delve into the nowhere
and find no spot.
You decide to wash your face and take a deep fresh air to
breathe But you feel like oxygen is your poison and nothing more
than this. You hold your phone for the first time at 12 am, and then
here is the surprise You find nothing, from no one, and then you realize that
you are dead!
You try to wake up wishing it was one of those nightmares
that are hitting you Until you see THE ONE having his picture with his beloved You throw your phone with all the power you have, and it
breaks And for the first time, you really wish you are dead. © 2015 stars are farAuthor's Note
