For God's Sake

For what have passed in my life

I promise that for you, i will strive.

 

Every vow that my lips uttered for you

Will be kept and always be true.

 

With the rising of the sun and the shine of the moon

I will always pray to give you as my groom.

 

For God's sake, believe that what I say is true

All what I really want is to have you.

 

Believe that all my dreams involve your name

And every prayer starts with a lover blame.

 

Never blaming destiny or my fate

But blaming my heart for not taking a break.

 

For God's sake, read my poetry that is dedicated for you

And I’m sure you will know that I honestly adore you.

 

No matter where life takes us, and how we are apart

You will always be the one who broke my heart.

Nice poetry with simplicity of words. Good flow of rhymes and I enjoyed it. Much sounded like lyrics of a song. I also usually write lyrics not poems. I think poems in form of lyrics comes great. Well as a musician that's what comes in my mind.
