Life turns and the world continues to play its game

With a question that hit our minds like a devils flame,

“If I have to live again, will I do this or that, will I love him again ?”

And is he or she the one I will again put on the blame.

 

I always thought about that and I’ve been asked

Will you love him again , if you get to choose ?

I smiled and with full confide I said “yes” as I barged

To the minds of the haters , in my own shoes.

 

I laughed like psycho and jumped like a baby

I loved truly and its something I admit , I loved .

I lived, I loved, I inhaled love and every thing

I inhaled you, and exhaled everyone else ..

 

As I think about it at night, I got to say the answer

We laughed, we smiled, I was happy like never

I was crazy, I was young, and you were the reason

You bring me from summer to winter in one season.

 

How can I regret a life I lived and was happy through?

How can I regret a kiss I tasted so slowly and gone insane ?

How can I regret a person whom I loved and fell for his name ?

How can I regret a hug that made my heart dance under rain in summer ?

 

I regret nothing , not a single world I said or something I done

And if I were asked to restart my life one time

I will ask to live the exact same one I’m living in

Because it’s always the best what you have .

Beautiful sentiment. I love the freedom and the dedication in this piece. There's a true devotion to living what is being lived and having no regrets. I have lived many painful moments, but I'd do it all again so I could be sure I'd still be me. There were a few grammar issues, but other than those easily fixable spots... Well penned.

There's a quote that this poem reminds me of, though I can't exactly single out who said it or the actual quote verbatim. It goes something along the lines of: "You never remember the nights you went to bed early." Fantastic portrayal of a similar concept, and the carefree treatment of life in which you put your own enjoyment first. Well done!
