I Don't Feel Anymore

you told me you loved me then why did you go ?

I don’t feel like reading neither writing

I don’t feel like sleeping neither staying I wake.

 

I don’t feel like I can take this anymore

The sun and moon seems alike just like a moor .

 

I don’t feel my heart beating like before

And I don’t know if I’m breathing and what for.

 

I don’t feel like climbing to the sky like a child

But I’m climbing my days to reach the darkness .

 

I don’t know what the word “feel “mean anymore

I think its executed from the dictionary once more.

Is it because of you or because of anyone or just me

I don't feel like or anything that is related to thee

 

Like love and like so many heartfelt things that used to be

I think that “feel” is nothing but more that a virtual sea.

And all what I wanted to do now, is take a deep breath

Smile, and just keep my dreams going on.

Dreams can bring us peace and comfort, but they are only dreams. In reality to not feel anything is so very sad, heartbreaking to think that one can be so numb they cannot feel. At least to feel pain lets one know they are alive. This is one of the saddest poems I've read in a long time.

Fine job, you build up the tension in the first four couplets buy using questions, then explore the situation you have so finely created. One small point,the lines of the last couplet could read ( just a suggestion ! )
All I want to do now is to take a deep breath
