Back To February

Back To February

A Poem by stars are far
"

I miss you

Back to February

That was never the way I planned the love month in that year

We were apart from the first moment February said hello

You showed me every dream falling and my heart was full of fear

I was so down and dying for loosing you my fellow.

I thought it was going to be a happy red day for us

But it was just good and cheering for you my honey

I was dead and those red flowers never made a fuss

They started at my tears and wiped until they died .

My bed heard me crying and my floor held me on every fall

I hugged it so hard ,though it was softer that your heart

It kissed my broken heart and gathered its pieces and non it stole

It was the ears for me and the only body guard.

On the day that February was saying its goodbye

our eyes met under that tree my eyes smiled so wide

But my lonely heart was calling yours and tearing apart ,

And that was the last time ,and that was when I lost my pride.

All what I wish now is to go back to that day

To make me hug you more and make you closer than my soul

To make the goodbye easier and more lovely

And all what I wish now is to go back to February .

I like the poem it's sweet and sad. I don't really like the unkempt rhyme. I'd either try to get rid of them completely or finish the pattern. That's my only criticism

A heart, damaged and yearning either for the bad times to pass or for better days to come (or for better days to come back), spending its time in both regret and nostalgia, wishing for the perfection of the past to make itself apparent once more. Welld one

This was definitely well-penned. Raw emotions were flowing all throughout the poem. The longing for love yet the pain was well-portrayed with images of a broken relationship. A good piece. :)

Like this, if I have a constructive criticism then it would be that the rhyme scheme is not regular, some of the rhymes are either not intended or half rhymes, or nor rhymed like honey and died, so maybe some work is needed, to make this even better !

I really enjoyed the passion you put behind this piece. Well done. :)

my favorite lines ... talking to February as the enemy is creative .. we too often forget that celebratory days of joy are very difficult for some ..
