Still I Wish You The Best

Every night I lay at those clouds 

And without any fear or doubts 

I watch you, smiling and laughing

And with her, all night chatting..

 

Don't ask about those sounds you hear at night

They are the voice of my heart breaking, but that's alright.

Don't ask why the skies rain in spring

That's my eyes drawing your marriage ring.

 

Days have passed by and smiled for me

It saw my tears and felt that I gave up on thee

Even when it knew that I can never hate you

But all what I could ever do, Is move on over you..

 

Those streets that we passed through are not the same

They are calling me and screaming for your name.

I went there to check in the streets are still alive

But I've been told that for our live they used to strive.

 

You said you love my long hair , Is that right?

I cut it so short just to erase your word from my mind.

You said you loved that brown shirt too

But now it no more belong to my body or can touch it .

 

I used to love staying all night long and laughing on your jokes

But now, No more night in my dictionary and no more pokes.

I  used to love every song you sent me and ever singer you love

But now I don't even remember their names or who are they.

 

I loved you baby, i truly did.. with every single piece i love you

But now i think it is time to move on, be happy again .

I know you will never feel what I passed through

But still all i want is the best for you ...

This is a very emotional write my dear. Losing someone you poured your heart and soul into can be a very painful experience. You captured that with this piece, but through it all you still have the dignity to wish them good things in their life, even though you are pained in the background. Well done!

This is so beautiful, when we lose someone we loved/love we do tend to wish that they have the best in life, when we love someone ad lose them, even though we are broken we can still hope they will be happy, and maybe love again, even if its not with us, this was a very well written, thought provoking piece, great write!
