Why Did You DO This To Me ?

Why Did You DO This To Me ?

A Poem by stars are far

Why did you do this to me ?

We were the perfect love song in this universe

You were a prince wearing a crown of kindness

We were in our temple that’s built with love and forgiveness

I was there to worship you ,and I was named your mistress .

We never had a single fight and you were always right

We were more than lover and more than anything in this light

You were my angel and my lovely dream each night.

I can feel you every night even when you are out of sight.

You were to me like a victory that I had in my life

You brought me up to the heavens but then cut that rope with a knife

I fell down so hard and I lost my trust and my whole life

I was so in love with you and you WERE too …

I just can’t believe it’s happening to US

I can’t believe what happened to that love

With every single word a river of tears fall down

And with every tear a broken vow is placed in my head ….

This poem is brilliantly written, the visual concept is imaginative. The first two stanzas are in perfect symmetry and imagination. And as the poem progresses the more it burst emotions, the more i get attach to the poem. I almost cry with this poem which is a good thing because it has affected me. Brilliant poem! 100/100

"I was so in love with you and you WERE too …"

This single line carved a hole in my chest. The "past tense" is heartbreaking. I can see my old self in the speaker.

True. I hate speaking in the past tense, too.
I've recently seen a quote that was brought to mind upon finishing this (I forgot who originally spoke it): "The saddest part about betrayal is that it never comes from our enemies."
You capture the sheer pain of being ripped away from a lover, and discovering that it was in their best wishes for the both of you to be split.
Heart-wrenching, to say the least. You portray sorrow well in this piece, well done, Suhad!

Well aren't I in a melancholy mood. . . This is amazing. "With every single word a river of tears fall down
And with every tear a broken vow is placed in my head." I feel like this was the best part, because it's so true. And that whole third stanza was just. . . wow. Beautifully written.
