That Litle Boy Is Now ...

And with one word that all started ,where you smiled to me as if it was all right , I met you under that tree. In the park behind our house, I used to go there every day and sit with my earphones listening to that old calm voice that make me all right… That all was a part of my life, it was the only place where I feel free and that everything was so good and I reach the peak of my happiness there….Alone …. Yes alone… I loved to be there alone ,because I was trying to avoid the dirtiness of those creatures who you may call “people” … It was a calm park, I used to sit under that tree at the corner, no one used to like that spot except me…

One day ,as usual, I went there ,sat on that bench and set my earphones, and calm my nerves down, when you passed though, I didn’t even gave you a glance, I was closing my eyes to feel the song and live with it, where you passed and then stopped in front of me ,you were that tall guy, black eyed and dark brown hair. But then after moments passed and you were still standing there ,I said :” hey please, can you move away , you are blocking the air” .. you moved few centimeters, but then I came back to my mood and my song, you stood there staring … five minutes passed… ten minutes passed…but you were still standing there , and staring… I said :”excuse me, are you waiting for someone, or do you need any help ?” , you replied:” No, I think that I must go, the thing I’m waiting for is not going to happen today “ …and you left …

Next day, the day after, and the day after that… you used to come and sit in the bench next to mine , I never looked at you, that was so true , because I felt that ,the park was a place where you feel free to do what you want by your own , and I always used to tell myself that as I hate someone to annoy me ,I hate to annoy anyone.. so I never approached … The park was the best place anyone can go to , or even think about, it was the most amazing place in the world.

It was a spring day at the afternoon, when I decided to was that short white lace dress with my white hair bow ,and my pink shoe… I went and sat there as usual listing to music and just trying to live my own world inside myself, when you approached to me and said calmly: You look beautiful today… I said: excuse me ,I didn’t hear you ,because I was listening to a song… you said in a sweet way: No problem , I was just saying you look beautiful today … I blushed and laughed shyly and said: thank you . then you asked me if you can sit beside, I didn’t mind that because I felt that you need to talk … then

You said: I’m Jake ,you are ?

I said : I’m Vanessa ,and you are welcome.

You said : thank you .

You continued : you come to here almost daily .

I said : yes, it’s my favorite place

You said: It’s amazing, you are right .

I said: yes …

Then you said confusingly : where do you live ?

I said : umm, not too far from here.. I live in the next street, how about you ?

You said: I live a little bit far, I live in the next country, its 30 minutes far from here .

I said : Oh, why do you come here then ? there is many nice places in that country .

You said: No, this place is so special.

I said : oh.

You said : I love sitting here , the view is nice and everything I want is here .

Then it was almost sunset, so I excused you in order to leave , you asked if you can drive me home, but I said no, because I love walking … Then , I went back home, when I reached home, I was still stuck in that small conversation that happened between us, but then I washed my face and started to live the reality more than that illusions … My mom came to check for me , when she found me staring at my window and looking toward the sea, it was so dark and deep, deep ,deep…many thought come to someone when he look at such views … And you ,you were not moving , you reached your house sat there ,and was amazed ,they were all surprised by that man that never sat ,and done nothing, but now he is there thinking … Just thinking …

Next day, I was up so fresh washed my face and went to my college, then after a nap …. I went to the park, you were there , sitting on my bench, when I reached there, you said :”hey Vanessa , I was waiting for you .”

I said : thank you Jake.

You said: can I sit with you today , I need to talk to someone..

I said : sure! Why not.

You said: Can I talk ?

I said : I’m all ears .

You laughed sweetly and then said : thanks …

You continued talking and started saying: I was broken when I was a young child, I loved a girl with a love that was more than a love, but my situation was weaker than anything in this world, I was young, I couldn’t hold anything in my life, but I travelled and now came back to look for her, and I’m still hoping that she is still single but I don’t think that she will remember me ,or whatever was between us , she was young and so beautiful….

You stopped talking

I said surprised : Well, that was so bad. I’m sorry Jake, I hope you find her soon and she be yours.

You said : no need to be , I’m now all fine .

I just smiled .

You said then : what about you? What do you hide? I feel there is a story behind this bench and this tree and this song ? what’s it ?

I said in a confused way: no .. I’m just… normal .. fine ..

Then silence was on, and you were just staring at me , I didn’t knew why ,but it was queer to me .

Months passed where we used to sit together in that park. It was my birthday ,when I decided to open my heart for you .

I reached the park when I found that bench, decorated with balloons and you were there … I approached there and looked at you , happily with my eyes that were flooding with happiness

I said spuriously : wow Jake, that’s .. wow .. amazing

I was speechless,,,

You said : it’s nothing for you…

Then you gave me a red flower and I sat down .. I wasn't able to say anything, but my eyes said it all …

I said surprised : Thank you ..thank you.. that’s most amazing that someone done to me ,

Then we both sat down ,with moments of happiness that passed…then I looked at you and

Said : Can I tell you something ?

You said : sure, what’s it?

I said : remember once you asked me about the bench, the tree, the…

You interrupted and said: yes..

I said : there is a story, but I couldn’t tell it, it is somehow awkward to tell you at the time,but now I can, so would you listen .

You said: Sure , I’m all ears.

I said: It all started when I was a little girl, when I found that guy at my school ,and fell in love with him, I was a young girl ,he was young too, but I loved him, and our last goodbye was here…when his family decided to travel, and then he left me here, I still love that young boy who took my heart with him ,and followed his dreams, but I’m sure that now, he is living happily , and he reached his dreams and….his name was Jake too ….

You interrupted and said: did I tell you that I found the girl ? that I came back to look for,

I said : REALLY ..that’s amazing , its wow…

You said : actually I found her the first day I reached her Vanessa , I found her in the place I left her, and just like this day, it’s been 10 years since I left , and now she is the beautiful little princess.

I said : Go to her… tell her ..she will be happy …

You said: and will you keep looking for your Little boy that left you one day Vanessa.

I said: Yes, because before he left I gave him a promise that I will always and forever love him, and forever means I will wait for him ,till I die.

You said: but don’t you think that you will waste your beauty ,waiting for someone that might not come.

I said : if he doesn’t come back, I’m sure he never forgot me, that little boy in my past and will always live in my mind, I will never love other than him.

Vanessa , I’m that little boy that left you and you are Vanessa that I came back to look for, I knew you, when I saw you sitting on that bench, I knew you, and that white dress I can’t forget, that dress that I heard your voice threw, that white dress that gave me the courage to come closer and talk to you…

I was AMAZED, SHOCKED, SURPRISED

I said : JAKE ..JAKE… MY JAKE .. My little boy ..

I approached and hugged him so tightly, I cried at his shoulders and cried so hard.. hugged him ..I held his face and started looking at his eyes, and said: My king, you are here, I love you, I still love you always and forever…

I showed you our picture when you hugged me at the same bench 10 years ago.

You said: I love you.. I love you my little princess and my only queen , I love you ..

And on that bench a chapter ended and another began… with that little boy that I loved, and I will always love . I never left your picture Jake, I always sleep while holing it, I always sleep while imaging it.. I said.. then you said: now ,no need for this picture to be in your hands ,I will never leave you again , I will be always between your arms and that picture will be the most expensive thing we will own, and I will always love you too…

ALWAYS AND FOREVER THAT CHILDISH PROMISE THAT WAS NEVER BROKEN .
