the mercy of sinners

the mercy of sinners

A Poem by Hermione

vodka passes twine
to hold back arms of lust
the mercy of sinners
the second comes fast
to borrow a lie
As that life fast forwarded
just remember to rewind
just once in a while.
The death flows through
pastel and it's a crime to
pass me by
Stiff, unbeliever
holding on to a dream
for all of eternity
Laughing statures
fill up in atoms
kept close to everything
and even in death
it won't fall.
It comes faster,
if you follow
which I don't
and the daylight promises
that it's just fine.
Listening through wonder
changes lacks its luster
and all anchors, they fall
but I don't even bother
The fall is twisted,
between limbs
and the struggle hurts
yet feels like nothing better
