Before

Before

A Poem by Carissa D

It is always before dawn,
before the silky
frost leaves
his window,

before the sun
drapes his lawn
in a
clear light.

It's always in the dusty
morning,
when lines fade into the
backdrop of his room.

When things can only be as
apparent as the morning will allow.

This is when he takes
her and
enters her,
before the morning
shadows disappear.

I like the poetry that make the reader use their imagination. Your words do. Nice description of the movement to the good dances in the morning light. A perfect ending to a amazing poem.
