God and His Box of CrayonsA Poem by Susan SiegelTribute to the beauty in nature furnished by God
A very long time ago
when the world was quite young, God created the colors but how was this done? He opened his box filled with multiple hues. He colored the earth with his greens and the blues. The sky colored blue, and great puffs of white, God took great joy at this wonderful sight! Mountains of red, reached up to the sky. Large puddles of blue floated on by. Trees full of life colored with green, Exquisite with beauty everywhere seen. He is never done making this rainbow of earth. His crayons are priceless with infinite worth. © 2011 Susan Siegel |
