The Other WorldA Poem by Sudipta_dewdropsfiction...imaginative The Other
World There is this
world which is full of struggle This world
which is full of strange humans, This world
that is in the hands of gadgets This world
people call the world of reality. In this world
there is a certain fear somewhere A fear of
getting crushed in the crowd of strangers, A fear of
meeting people who cannot be predicted And the fear
of losing ourselves in the maze that lies ahead. In this world
there is a certain doubt somewhere A doubt about meeting
the right kind of people, A doubt about
taking the right decisions for ourselves And also there
is a doubt about achieving our goals. In this world
there is a certain joy somewhere A joy that we
get by doing something good, A joy that we
get by making people happy And the joy we
get my living the life that we want. In this world
there is a certain sorrow somewhere A sorrow felt
when we lose someone very dear, A sorrow felt
when we lose faith in our aims in life And the sorrow
that is felt when we lose the battle lying ahead. In this world
there is a certain hope somewhere A hope of
succeeding in our strenuous attempts, A hope of
achieving the goals that we have set And the hopes
of making our dreams come true. And then there
is the other world, that’s hidden The world
where there is a mixture of everything, The world
where we love to see ourselves from within The world
people call as the world of dreams. In that world
there is nothing in our control Yet there is
everything that we want to see, There is fear,
doubt, joy, sorrow and hope Everything
perfectly blended as we desire. This other world has an alluring charm This other
world controls our thoughts, This other
world, though is a virtual one Yet, it is the
world we wish to be in. This other
world is the world of happiness This other
world is the world of fantasy, This other
world is the world of our wishes And this other
world is our world of dreams. © 2011 Sudipta_dewdrops |
