Machine

Machine

A Poem by suchitra sarmah

I will be a machine from now on
The velvet sky is falling apart
And I am too strong to lean on someone else
And me myself is filled with melancholy now
Insufficient to wipe away my tears
The heart beats are getting faster and faster in the inertia
Shivering in which I am hopeless and blind
The inertia of freedom and openness
But there is a need to stop the spontaneous happiness
No way is out there but to be a machine now

thank you for your review..actually its about living the same routine everyday..no matter how much you love your work, the daily routine work, the day when you break this routine and do nothing except feeling your presence by your side you will get this inertia..and in my case it happens,i often forget my passion in this process

to be a machine, to be strong and feel nothing... i don't get the inertia, for me it is quite contradicting, but of course it is your style and maybe you have deeper meaning about that. other than i like this poem. :)
