Another Day

Another Day

A Poem by Subversive Reality

Good morning life,
Did you miss me?

"No"
Well I missed you
Through the night my dreams
Were but a nightmare given
Ensnared and trapped
My lonely mind,
A world, nay universe,
Dark creation
Of its own, made
In twisted inspiration

So though the sunrise doth forebode
With looming skies
Tear streaming black clouds
Of uncertain lies,
Monotony the stable rail to clasp
As if to move were prelude
To my conscious disturbances
I welcome the day,
For of late, I fear the night
