![]() The Things I Wouldn't Do For MoneyA Poem by Kara Hadley![]() -enjoy-![]()
I like nice thoughts. And four leaf clovers. And colored lights in smoky bars. Though, I guess there are no more smoky bars. Thanks to the Surgeon General. Does the Surgeon General actually perform surgery? Are they even a doctor? I wonder these things. I used to wonder why people do such stupid things for money. This practice was especially troubling to me because I don’t care about money. I leave it in socks and under chairs. There is always a stack evident in my open purse. It means nothing good, but survival to me. I don’t wonder that anymore. Because having money allows people more time to be spent looking for four leaf clovers and smoky bars.
