Skim Milk Latte

Skim Milk Latte

A Poem by Kara Hadley
"

-enjoy-

"

I’m at peace. My tunnel world is falling down around my ears. Everything is dissolving. But here, in my room, with my latte, I’m at peace. The world can’t hurt me when I’m drinking my latte. But wait, my cup is empty. I guess it can hurt me now. Oh well. That’s life.

I loved the title of this "Skim Milk Latte" it just rolls off your tongue. Wonderfully penned. Great job.
