Down the strange road

Down the strange road

A Poem by sublime divinity
"

Filled with contemplation and excitement, when a traveller pusue a new path, there are numerous thoughts that vex his mind. This poem reveals where and how he finds the answer to those questions.

"

With shades of grey, covering the way,

Confounded the traveller walks.

When a gush of wind, blew past his ear,

A shadow in the dark, behind the bark, follows him and stalks.

With courage gathered ,and fist clenched,

He turns to face the unknown,

But vanished it was from his sight.

Seeing his will to fight,

The ghost of illusion had taken a flight

He stood up again,to walk the strange road, with sweat beading from forehead,

Lurking around there would be many along the road he tread.

With silent prayer left his lips , seeking help from someone kind,

Then he heard a voice from within ,

He forced his plapitating heart to hear, calmed his racing mind.

"This was in store, you always knew,

A world of uncertainities ahead.

But you made the will, to follow your heart

And meet the peril and foes instead.

You cannot retreat once you have walked,

So be strong and never look back.

People will stare, as you would be stranger there,

But you stand tall and walk.

Be young at heart and sharp with your brain,

and nobody will dare to make you stop."

Now he can see the road ahead seemed nowhere dark,

and no creatures lurking around.

With a smile on his face, and spring in his step

He marched ahead, along the strange road
