Thoughts of Guilt

Thoughts of Guilt

A Poem by James Reader

Thoughts of Guilt.
Pleasure and pain, heart and brain. Wicked and twisted they destroy my inter frame. I struggle with my hidden demons. I fear I cannot contain. They eat away at me, for I know their names. Lust and pride too often denied. They are the enemies of my righteous side. A battle of spirits fought in the dark. A weapon of mass destruction for my lost and lonely heart.
