Tempermental BeautyA Poem by TonyPlease don’t stand so close. If you must linger at all. It’s obvious, you’re not a gardener, The grass is dry, the weeds are tall. These thorns I’ve raised to keep you back, My task needs no distraction. At my feet your greens, invade my space, It’s your ignorance, sir, your inaction.
And furthermore, just spare me. Your poetry, and prose. It’s just so lame in comparison, Too me, the fragrant Rose. © 2011 TonyReviews
