Oh well! We all have something of that ego whetherwe have things to say or not. I sincerely think that yuo should not be apologetic about it, it does not matter as long as it is not too inflated on the wrong moment.....What would people have to talk behind someone else's back anyway, if not about.....that someone else's ego?!

I agree with Constance, if your egotistical, your bold and opinionated. If your silent, you dont help the situation much and fear too much to imput anything. Sometimes its better to be loud and bold then quiet and shy.

I'd rather be seen as egotistical than silent. :) As a woman, other women call me that all the time, just for having a voice and daring to speak up. I don't mind at all. It just means they are listening, sometimes.
