A Poem by onlytemporary

There were many before you. Some with rough hands, and soft voices. Some with rough voices and soft hands. Some with rough voices and even rougher hands. I've waltzed with the devil while thinking about an angel. I've kissed an angel with a serpent's tongue that filled me with venom until I collapsed on the floor, clutching the heart faintly beating in my chest; waiting for that poison to stop it all together. I hoped for love and only received pain and begged for pain just so I could feel something.
