Alone But Not Forever SoA Poem by John StussyFor/About a friend. I miss her...
You ran beside this growling wolf, Put up with his grumbling and stubbornness. The friendship we shared was a tender one, Something never taken for granted. But now that our paths are separate, I am again alone, of my own choice. None can take the place of the panther Who was there when I'd not let anyone close. Now that we keep this silence I keep you also in your place in my heart, Dear friend and trusted companion to me. For now I'll walk this chilled forest, Alone, but not forever so. If you return I will welcome you readily. © 2009 John StussyFeatured Review
