![]() SteelA Poem by John Stussy![]() Inspired by my sword and a certain hero![]() Soothe my tired soul With thy loyal resilience, Always ready, ever vigilant. In the silver glare of thine edge Mine enemies glide away, Held at the perfect point Of thou, my faithful companion. Thou, who never has nor will Treated me with Rebellion's scowl, Remained at my side when I was surrounded, Outnumbered and forsaken by the odds. Victory, for you and I, is the standard! Nigh unvanquishable when we two stand Against any enemy, death or retreat to them. And now here we stand this day Facing a sea of enemies to kill. The spirit of giants fill us now, Let us charge together to fight to the last. The sun glints in anticipation Of the blood thou shalt bring forth now, To battle, for honor, for victory! © 2008 John StussyReviews
