Contemplator of a RoseA Poem by John StussyWritten from a friend's picture on here, FoolsGold23. the inspiring image accompanies.
The half-closed eyelids And the simple cotton clothes Belie the magnificence Of this darling young dame. Her hidden brown eyes Glint with true understanding Of the surrounding world, Nothing hides from her mind. Softly, sweetly shall she murmur Her thoughts aloud on full pink lips, Contemplating a peach-colored rose Which seems grey beside her visage. I’ll stay here at a distance, Admiring the sight in total awe Whilst the beautiful poetess Continues her peaceful contemplation. © 2008 John StussyAuthor's Note
