LovelessA Poem by John StussyIdk...I’ve been told I can’t Love another person Until I can learn To love myself as well. I guess it's set in stone That love should evade My darkened heart Through all of that is time. I’ll walk alone On these cold streets Searching for the reason I see myself this way. The loneliness closes And I’m strolling in the dark Looking for an answer In the bleak November rain. No answer comes to me In this time alone So I guess it’s meant To be alive without A heart to love since I’m one unlovable. Time will fade away And it’ll take away my pain. The one person I hate Will disappear from here And my horrible rage Follows me to the grave. I’ll walk alone On these cold streets Searching for the reason I see myself this way. The loneliness closes And I’m strolling in the dark Looking for an answer In the bleak November rain. The loveless un-wonder Fades away in good time And in the end I know Nobody will be mine. There’s no hope, No grace, no chance For the man who’ll never dance On the floors of confidence. I’ll walk alone On these cold streets Searching for the reason I see myself this way. The loneliness closes And I’m strolling in the dark Looking for an answer In the bleak November rain. I’ll disappear, fade away In the bleak November Rain. © 2008 John StussyAuthor's Note
