I Dance!

I Dance!

A Poem by John Stussy
"

:D you will never guess what inspired this one.

"
The beat pulses through my limbs,
Crescendoing with every note
Until it is a nice solid tune,
And I sit there singing along.

Before long I have forgotten
How the hell to frown and scowl.
Rather I start to smile subtly,
And my toes tap on the ground.

I get up out of my chair
And decide to dance a little.
My arms and legs do deserve
The freedom of such movements.

My whole body moves to the sounds,
Bouncing and grooving happily.
This is what I needed damn it,
This feeling of movement and ease.

For just a moment as the song ends
I feel slightly sad for the silence.
Then I pause, thinking why the hell not,
And flip on another dance tune.

HAHAHAHAHA.....*Catches breath to start snickering again* The poem was awesome, too right, some beats you just can't sit out, but the masterchief at the end had me rolling man!! hahaha, ohhh shoot, that was funny. Not expecting that at all, but a nice complimentary addition to your poem.
I especially liked the phrase "My arms and legs do deserve, the freedom of such movements."
Great Job Sir Stussy, hehe, nice one!~P

This made me laugh. It reveals how, at random, even depressing times, a simple movement, dance, can cheer one up.

I'd like to dance with you.
