When the itch starts going
And the craving's growing There's no showing of reason Thus my mind enacts treason. I have oats for sowing, My intentions growing. Addiction hasn't a season; You ask when I will be done. Truth of the matter, The crave keeps me going: The utter satisfaction Breeds a mental reaction. I am the batter, Hitting hard, no slowing. I need a distraction, Body in soul contraction, And when that burning crave Is brought to its fruition My entire body sighs With mental relaxation. I walk away, hands wave I carry satisfaction. Don’t dare buy into my lies; Addiction, no cessation.
