Perfect Pretty Poison

Perfect Pretty Poison

A Poem by John Stussy
"

Just imagining the perfect poison. The more toxic, the better.

"
Drive me to insanity,
Kill the logic within me.
I cannot snort you
Shoot you,
Smoke you,
Breathe you;
Your recognition
Of my existence
Suffices as my
Soaring high.
Like a desperate druggie
On a poison of gods,
One hit, that's it.
I'm hooked on you.
Is it feasible to overdose?
I'd love to explore such a possibility.

If someone hasn't experienced this all consuming emotion, they haven't lived. And you told the story well. Great piece

They come in many forms, but the carnal desire for it is always the same.
This is my kind of poison. And yes, you can overdose. ;-)

That'd be the sweetest death I could imagine then I'm sure haha. Thanks for the review Frieda.
Nice. The idea of someone making you so desperate for a fix, just the thought they know you exist is enough to sustain you...I like it.
