Death MarchA Poem by HollyNot a very good poem, so bare with it.....Death is marching forward leaving no place unscarred touching all the mountain tops down to ever valley drop all that can be seen has seen his evil gleam with homicide and suicide there's no place left to hide
He's outside of your window your happiness so low his dwindling patience for your soul signals your time to go
Death is looking for you his eyes are on your door so what will you say when he's staring at your face would you throw your arms around him and say take my life away or thinking of your corpse would you barracade your door if death looked you in the face with unsuspecting grace and no one told that fate behold can only be a waste
Death is reaching out so what will you do welcome him or not there's still no hope for you © 2009 HollyAuthor's Note
